50th Anniversary

This is a queen sized quilt I made many years ago, and it took many years to make.
Little by little it came together.
Piece by piece the colors blended, from the half inch strips in the center kaleidoscopes, to the
log cabin blocks around the border.
It was a labor of love.

Scrappy, Continued

I am having so much fun with this quilt!
Using up bits and pieces of fabrics,
some I haven't see in years.

Scrappy, Work In Progress

Using some scrap strips laying around, trying to organize.
Eventually this will be a lap quilt, intended for a present.

Enson's, Work In Progress

This is a work in progress. Enson's is a men's shop in New Haven, Connecticut. Wonderful Place.
They gave me bags and bags of samples of suiting material and said "Show us what you can do!"
So I'm showing them.
It's all 100% wool or silk samples from their sample books, cut to size,
and put together in a 5 color plaid, king sized.
The backing is a cute blue and orange bird print, similar to what I'd
imagine would be the lining in a forward fashion suit.

I will get around to quilting it soon.
