Ocean

 I wanted to make a quilt highlighting the ocean, and life underwater. The quilt simmered in the back of my mind for a while, sometimes in view, sometimes hiding. Then one day it said 

"You know, the water doesn't have to be blue. The fish don't have to be green. Stop thinking that way."

I got home from my walk and dove into the fabric, pulling out color after color after color.

The quilt is tied, and quilted. 100% cotton front. Polyester back, batting. 

It is all hand appliquéd, quilted, beaded, ready for hanging.
